ABOUT US

We are passionate about helping people and strive to ensure as many people as possible have access to functional communication, safe and adequate nutrition, social interaction, and the cognitive abilities to enjoy their daily life. It brings us great joy to be a part of the lives of families that are struggling to help their child with autism reduce frustration through finding ways to communicate and interact. It is always an honor to be part of the celebration when a child with Apraxia learns new sounds, a delayed talker says "mom" for the first time, a baby improves feeding skills and finally gains weight, or an individual with a brain injury masters a goal and gets a little piece of their life back.

Our founder and CEO is a behavior analyst as well as a speech-language pathologist licensed in multiple states and certified by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. She has over 17 years of experience working with children and adults with a variety of communication, cognitive, behavioral and feeding impairments. Sound Speech Pathology prides itself on building and maintaining a team of caring, experienced, and highly skilled speech-language pathologists to ensure you and your loved ones receive the best care possible.

We believe in lifelong learning and are always seeking information to ensure that we utilize the most up to date methods and research when treating patients. Our therapists have advanced training in social language, play-based therapy, behavior management, classroom management, apraxia of speech, autism, feeding therapy, alternative and augmentative communication, applied behavior analysis, LAMP, the Hanen More Than Words program, VitalStim, brain injury, cognitive rehabilitation, DriveAble assessments, supervision, tongue tie, videostroboscopy, FEES, nasoendoscopy, and PROMPT.

Sound Speech Pathology serves patients of all ages in-person at our Port Orchard, Washington clinic or

remotely via Zoom in the states of Washington and Texas.
